Updates & a Happy Chinese New Year's to you!
Hello hello everyone!! Happy Chinese Near Years! Happy Year of the Rabbit or Happy Vietnamese New Years of the Cat for those of you out there. I hope everyone is celebrating in the very best way they love! Be it sitting at home finishing a book with your cat or out partying or eating food with your family. <3 I hope it's a great and bright time for you. ^w^
I figured I'd also give an update on my life as I tend to do with these. Right now things are going pretty well. It's taken an aweful long time to pull up out of this roller coaster of a slump I've been in and out of. As you've likely noticed I've not been as active with my posts as I really want to be here. And since it's prolonged this long I decided to sit down with myself and really evaluate Why. Which is something I also think you all deserve to know.
For those of you that have been reading or following my content you probably know that I focus on Writing & Quality. I focus on maintaining a diverse gallery that is pleasing to witness but is also rich with lore and character details spread threw out their lives. To do this to the standard I hold myself requires a significant amount of time for me. Sometimes hours. It's something I enjoy but it's also sorta spotty, it's not the same as sitting down to write a story or a DnD game or to world build. And it also comes in bursts where you are able to communicate well with your character and get really good lore for them out. Or were you can't hear a character or just aren't focused ones you want to put art up of. As of this New Year, I've found myself on delving into more deep lore, stories in full/worlds well fleshed and the boundless sense of adventure and freedom that usually tries to come and sweep me up. I admit, because of various conditions out of my hands I got whacked down pretty hard from that rise. And now it's something of a fight up. But the spirit of it still is beating in me hard and I'd like the freedom to embrace it.
it short, this means that though I am still buying art I do not have as much time to post art here on FA. My art and characters inspire me and so I've been doing more detailed writings off site. I've actually just started my very own Choose Your Own Adventure. It's nowhere near done, but I am very excited for it!! ^w^
I am still in love with the characters I've gotten and the artwork for them. But because FA single post format and all the extra work that goes into each makes writing their stories kinda Chunky. And I'm really looking to do some more fluid deeper work for my lovelies right now. I'm sure I'll have nights like tonight where I am more willing to able to post work. But that's the summ up of where I am and why things have slowed down. I've moved my writing to are more story-based location and am lacking the time to do both posts and the writing I want to accomplish. So posts are taking a back seat right now.
I hope everyone is okay with that. And I hope everyone is doing well with their own goals, personal and character adventures!! : D

I say good on you for focusing on what you really wanna do rn! Your writing is great enough that I don’t mind seeing you slow down to do other stuff off-site. Better that than burnout.
Also a choose your own adventure *w* !! I remember making a silly little one for a class back in college and I had such a blast, good luck with yours.
Happy Chinese New Year and happy life my friend. <3
I’d love to try it when you finish!
