Friendly little tabby. Thought maybe he was abandoned by his behavior, since a lot of dumbasses abandon cats up my way, but no, he's just a well-socialized stray. He's been around the neighborhood for a few months, scrounging food off of people. He very insistently made his way into my house, so I've decided to keep him. It's the first pet I've taken in since my dog died a few years back and I've been feeling that empty space. It's good to have another furry friend to keep me company out here.
On that note, I'm probably not going to be getting any new lineart to work on for a while. The costs of taking in a cat, between food, scratching posts, some basic toys, and then the medical stuff, it's pretty expensive business taking a cat in. At least it is when you do it properly, anyway. This means my budget for anything other than important expenses is gonna be tapped out for a little while.
Fortunately, I've got a backlog of pics to work on stacked up, so hopefully my actual art output won't slow much. Though, I may catch up on the backlog before I've caught up on the costs.
