Cat Needed Surgery

So, my cat has been having serious trouble with urinary blockages over the past few months and I've had to take him in for surgery to fix the problem. It's a fairly routine procedure and he's already done with it, though he's still in for monitoring him for signs of kidney damage. There's very little chance of it having lasting complications and I'll probably have him home by tomorrow if no other problems show up.
This was expensive, though. Long term, it's cheaper than regular emergency visits to have his urinary blockages removed, but in the short term, it's a lot of money. I've saved up enough over the years that this is not going to kill me. But between this, payments on my new car after the old one finally gave up the ghost, previous vet bills, and general inflation, boy am I paying a lot of out of pocket expenses lately. Some things will change starting next year that will help ease some of my expenses and I'm far from struggling by anyone's definition of the word. I'll still have enough left in my account to handle basic living expenses while I save up to recover from this, but boy does it feel uncomfortable comparatively.
I really don't want to go begging for money, considering that I'm not destitute. I'm still secure in my funds, provided I don't get cancer or something - you never know, but I'm filing that one under "unlikely."
That said, I have put a lot of time and work into entertaining my followers with my art. That is also an expense, given the whole "colorist, not sketcher" thing, and normally a thing that I would immediately cut out of my activities if I needed to go into a saving spree. But now I have a Patreon and that gives me obligations, so I'm not so quick to just stop that for a few months.
As I said, I'm not going to beg for money. But I am gonna pimp the hell out of my Patreon. If you've enjoyed my work and can afford to spare a little, I would absolutely appreciate the additional support. For example, I've been sharing some scripts for a Jinx comic that I was working on that I considered selling to a magazine, but said magazine has not contacted me back about it in months, nor had any communications with me about previous scripts I sold to them, so I'm doubtful it will get made. But they're Jinx-related and that's always hellishly fun. There's also WIPS and exclusive sketches I've never shown anyone anywhere else.
