New tablet! Gifting the old one!

I finally replaced the tablet I've been using since 2014 -- every since piece of digital artwork posted here was done on that Bamboo tablet. That isn't to say I haven't tried out other tablets when offered, but it was always "enough" for me and any limitations were more a result of software and (most significantly) the user. I could have kept on happily with this one for years more, but the surface has developed a rough texture over time that's too distracting for me to effectively work on. Aside from some wear and tear it still functions well, so rather than letting it gather dust I want to pass it on to someone else, preferably someone who doesn't yet have a tablet of their own but has an interest in learning digital art. It's a Wacom Bamboo CTH-470, and I'll be happy to send it off to whoever asks for it first in the comments and is willing to cover the cost of shipping.
For those curious, the new tablet is a Wacom Intuos Pro. My initial impressions are totally positive, even if I don't know what to do with the hotkeys -- I just manage everything on keyboard out of habit :P

bamboos are great starter tablets.
The Intuos is a fantastic tablet and I couldn't recommend it more! You're gonna love it 💕
I also never used any of the hotkeys and rested my other hand on the keyboard since it just felt more natural, haha
The higher color gamut is also a huge plus, especially since the new computer I got before the switch has a screen with a color balance I wasn't used to.
I miss using my left hand for keyboard shortcuts as the Huion's size makes it more difficult to maintain good posture while drawing for long periods if I do. Manually tapping options is just a small bit slower so I'm getting used to it ❤️
I was quite content with drawing mainly with my wrist for many years and I still do so when using good old pencil and paper. Both ways are totally valid in my eyes! At the end of the day it's just a different skill to learn, with its own benefits and drawbacks.

I downgraded to regular bamboo Wacom tablets after intuos ones, because they kept dying on me and they're not cheap! It's super sweet of you to be gifting it away, but I'd honestly keep it as a back up if you're able, or just make sure you're keeping an eye on the tablet and get a warranty!
I also find the small size to be good for me. I have el cheapo Chinese "pre-Huion" from back when they were still named Pentagram. It's seriously huge, but I find this size really inconvenient, I need to wave my arm around as if I wanted to catch a fly...
Healthy reminder that there are indeed a good number of good people out there.

I wish I'd found somebody to give my now ancient intuos 2 to before it more or less became dead tech. For whatever reason the idea of just 'throwing it in a box and mailing it' always seemed like "omg, that's going to cost infinite money!" to younger me so I never even tried.
Meanwhile, USPS ground shipping is instead scratching their head going 'uh... its like 10 bucks to send somebody something nice that they can probably use instead of it going to waste.'
