Drama and/or stupidity Pt. 2

Well, it happened again. Was looking through my submission updates, saw one that was cute, tried to fave it and found out I'd been blocked again.
This time, it was not by an artist that had ever taken my money or used my characters, so it's not as big of a deal. And I assume it was once again for the [sarcasm] heinous an unpardonable offense of pointing out the stupidity of a recent rule change, reminding everyone that we've had that conversation before, and showing support for those who were punished for "offenses" that predated the rule change. Oh, so heinous of me, I am surely irreversibly damned to Hell for sure! [/sarcasm]
And I would have stayed silent about it this time because... Well, if I'm honest, because he was barely on my radar to begin with. But as I was going through his gallery making sure I de-faved everything, it occurred to me...
How the fuck did he know?
Has he been, all this time, lurking -- stalking -- the accounts, galleries and journals of every artist who was directly impacted by the rule change and blocking everyone who left a shout or comment showing support for those artists?
Did he do a bunch of F.A. searches for [redacted] and blocked everyone who came up on it?
I know I'm not a major contributor to F.A. -- 90% of my stuff is reposts from other galleries. So chances are that, if you're watching me, it's either because you and I had person-to-person contact before, or you share in my very specific laser-targeted interests.
So if liking the kind of stuff that I commission is a deal-breaker, how can it only now be coming to your attention? You're either a hypocrite who had me on watch all this time and have only just now decided to play purity police and block me, or you have a stick up your ass of such biblical proportions that you have allowed it to dictate your actions ever since the change was announced and will continue to do so until God only knows when.
So you know what, unnamed artist who blocked me and all who will in the future for the same "offense"? I'm glad, because now I know what kind of person you really are. It's okay to have deal-breakers (lord knows I've got a few), but there's a fine line between a deal-breaker and an obsession.
So if you're so terrified that I might comment on your artwork one day and you'll accidentally click on my name, accidentally click on "gallery" or "journals", accidentally scroll down and click "next" several times in a row and then accidentally click on something you find offensive, then please, feel free to block me too.

I figure the easiest way to sum it up would be to say there are four levels in which one could reasonably say they belong.
#1: I oppose it, and so much so that I will devote myself to opposing it.
#2: I oppose it, but I'm not going to let it consume me and will only deal with it when I see it.
#3: I don't care about it.
#4: I support it.
On the issue of Nazi furs, I'm in #2. And anyone who used to be a #3 or 4, then suddenly became a #1 will have my scorn just as much as the Nazi furs. I will question the sincerity of your concern that it may now be anywhere on Earth when, not even a week ago, you didn't care at all that it was right in front of you.
Just as I will anyone who has only now decided that the content of my gallery, or my support for other artists, is intolerable. Neither of them are anything new, and I am not nearly prominent enough on F.A. to possibly come to one's attention unless they were browsing for the same kind of content or watching one of the artists I'm supporting.
So they're either an obsessive-compulsive lunatic, or a hypocrite.
I don't care which.
“When you tear out a man's tongue, you are not proving him a liar, you're only telling the world that you fear what he might say.”
Essentially this persons blocking of others says far more about them than it does you. Still the cowardace on their end is baffling. People are idiots.
I'm here and I follow you cause I not only fall into a similar niche of interest, but I also love the world you've made here, even if most of the art is commissions, no shame in that.
I will admit though that the new policy definately has me feeling even more hesitant to upload certain things to my gallery. :/
