Same to you, man! Yeah, I've never celebrated the holiday myself. I never had anyone to celebrate it with, so you can imagine how annoying it is to see all the advertisements and 'If you had someone, you could buy them this!' messages.

Yeah, it's a bit irritating. All I hear are diamond commercials talking about the new designs they've made for lovers, using what were sub-grade diamonds 30 years ago that they're now charging 2x the price for, and songs about falling in love, being in love, having fallen out of love but still pineing for someone... etc. I ended up driving home with the radio off. My day was bad enough just from being at work; I didn't need salt in the wound.

I'm sitting back and enjoying a nice stiff drink, and debating whether to play a game or not. That's my valentine's. LoL.

The only nice thing that happened regarding V-day was one of my games, a character of my choice sent me a V-day message. That did make me smile. LoL. It doesn't mean anything, but I can momentarily lose my sanity and believe someone appreciated me, before my sanity snaps back into place. LoL

Especially since they start earlier and earlier each year, it seems like. I'm just waiting for the time they just say "Fuck it" and keep the advertisements going year-round. That'll be fun...

But yeah, I've just been watching Anime and drinking Arbor Mist. That's good enough for me. I did have a good Sunday, though, as the team I was rooting for won the Super Bowl. So that's something.

I'm most certainly alive. I just don't do much anymore. Writing is hard, and there's not much of an audience these days.
