Probably most of you are already following 
insomniacovrlrd but I'm gonna try spreading the word anyway! He made a classic-style shoot'emup called Comet Striker:

It's been difficult to keep this a secret over the years, because I really enjoy the game and want it to succeed. I'm glad that Insomniac has finally decided to make it public so that I can recommend it to people. And I hope they'll be able to bring the game to Switch at some point (even though Nintendo are a buncha jerks) because I think it'd be perfect for it.
Me and Insomniac go a long way back. I remember we even tried making some games together back in the day, but those plans didn't work out and we went on our separate game developer ways. I launched the SummonerRL project, and he founded Iced Lizard Games with another crew that has been putting out some really cool stuff. I'm excited to see more of their games in the future!
