Think I need to ease up a bit

Drawing's turning into this stressful trial of mental endurance where nothing is ever quite right and until it is I'll be going over the same single shapes or single lines, or searching for hours for that one pose in that one angle to reference from heavily. A week or two passes and while I'm satisfied with the result, the suffering just doesn't make sense when someone with equal or greater chops could probably knock it out in a few hours or so.
So yeah, reckon I need to relax a bit in some regard. Quantity or quality or both. If you got suggestions though on how to beat this unhealthy level of perfectionism I'm all for it

What matters (and it’s something I have to remind myself) is that everyone’s art journey is different and there is no right or wrong pace to develop yourself.
If I’m getting frustrated with an art piece in particular something I do to help is put aside all the projects I was working on temporarily and just draw whatever I want to draw on a blank canvas. It doesn’t have to be good or something I’ll show anyone, it’s just a selfish drawing for myself. No need for perfectionism or for it to be “correct”, I’m free to be as good or as bad as I want. It helps bring the fun back into drawing.
Also don’t be too hard on yourself either. We’re all our biggest critics but we also all make mistakes, and that’s perfectly fine! Growth comes from that. Just remember you aren’t alone in feeling frustrated or burnt out, and take things at the pace you want. =)
