Some of you may remember I posted some pictures of some old iron as in my 66 Dodge one ton truck. Well it is gone, a young man had a need for the old girl because he works in construction so I let go of it.

Instead of exchanging money we did a trade because he had something more suited to my future needs... a 89 Chevy K2500 that is stock. It is something Mouse can drive after I make up some running board steps for it. As we have gotten older mine and Mouse's body don't move like they use to, so something with a lower ride height and softer ride is in order for us.

The body of the Chevy is in not bad shape over all, it's showing it's age for sure. This summer it may get a paint job, I'm not a fan of black it's so hard to keep clean. I'm thinking two tone as in white upper body with medium gray lower body.

The other thing I'll be setting it up for towing a 5th wheel the four wheel drive will be handy for off the beaten path travel that we may be doing.
