Doubts...
Honestly I'm really considering leaving the furry fandom and art community. Which means yes, I may not be active here anymore (I'm only thinking about it atm...). My designs and art are shit, I've been hella insecure about them lately cause they dont seem to be going anywhere. Plus the furry fandom seems to just be hella toxic and due to an encounter I had last year, it's really ruined my mental health and faith in humanity. I digress, just merely venting... What do you guys think? Should I keep going with my art or leave? As far as I'm concerned I dont see a reason for me continuing. I just feel like I'm wasting time and making art just feels like a chore anymore... idk...

So just continue if you genuinly enjoy doing it. If not then quit. Its up to you to value yourself and your talents when others wont.
As for what happened to you, thats also up to you. Do whats best for your mental health...there are other sites you can be an artist on if you dont wanna be considered a furry anymore. Lots of artists draw animals and arent furries. :) Deviantart, twitter, and tumblr are all just fine. (Honestly I think if you pushed yourself, you could get a decent amount of attention on deviantart, because sparkledogs are a huge aethestic. You would just have to push yourself and get yourself known; faving others art and watching similar artists, commenting, etc. It takes time but its possible. People wont just see you magically xD but yeah deviantart is great for your style of art. and tbh so is twitter. but twitter is a bit toxic at times so.)
but yeah if it genuinly feels like a chore then take a break or do what you feel is best.
Only you can decide. Ill support you either way, cuz I love your art but your mental health is important too. <3
Please do what makes you happy, but don't ever think you're not good enough or that your designs suck. That's just plain bull-plop and you know it. Do what you do because you enjoy it and want to, not cos of like buttons.
