My sister has an asshole landlord

Well, basically their landlord is giving my sister, her husband and their daughter 60 days to get out so his nephew can move into the place. And what really sucks about it right now is the fact that my sister is pregnant and is due in April.

Is this a house or an apartment complex? And did they sign a lease agreement either way?

It is an old farm house that was turned into a duplex. They have the upper level. And they did sign a lease agreement and have never missed a payment.

Unless there's some very fine print somewhere in that agreement that says that the landlord can kick someone out for any reason at any time, provided they give a certain amount of time for the lessee to move out, then he's in violation of the lease and they can sue him for breach of contract. If he chose not to renew their lease and informed them, he could probably get away with that.
