Part of the job I have is reading and researching classical material (mostly science and mathematics related) but occasionally staff gets a chance at summer internships.

I got one!!

In 2019 the same trip was planned, but as we all know the Zombies forced everyone into the shelter in place mode. So I couldn’t go.

Now… game on baby!

This July internship is only a week, but we’re starting with Valley Forge! Then the next week we go to other revolutionary sites and battlefields!

I’m so excited!! A relative on dad’s side was a veteran of the American Revolution, so it’s extra special!

Sketch pads definitely go, but I am going to see about some painting too.., if airline regulations (and itineraries permit).
