That's the goal! besides getting other affairs in order, the other gender affirming thing I'd like to start before the year ends is electolysis, provided I can find a way to do it without bankrupting myself.

Besides maybe the one I've stayed in touch with, but he lives in South Carolina right now.

Our high school wasn't the most open to LGBT unless it was the fellow freaks/goths I was with, but from the friends who I stayed in contact as well, they understand better than others.

I think that was just the world in 2002 to 2006.

I can at least speak to the fact that my sister-in-law is a PE teacher there, so that's some gay rep in the faculty at the very least.

But yeah, about 4 or 5 years ago, I bumped into someone who I considered one of my close childhood friends working at Walmart and told him I was dating a Enby and he gave me the most horrible ick face and that was the last time i had a serious conversation with him.

Very unfortunate for a pleasant surprise to turn that sour.

Good to hear the place has gotten more representation than the minority of students who had to keep a tight lip over the years.
