AI (Or really, machine learning) is just a tool. it all depends on how you use it.

i can deff understand why ai is a bit touchy, but they are way to overzealous with how they handle it. like blatantly claiming ai art is yours, and/or you also lock it behind some kind of pay wall, that i can understand is not ok. but using it as a reference for a character or ideas for posing, then making your own art off that is completely different. using it as a tool for artist block, as a ref for helping explain how you want a character to look, for fun a bit of fun, or something like "this is cool look what it can do", should not be punished along with those who actually use it for making money and/or claiming it is your art :( or at least not as strongly.

yeah i know XD. people who don't know that the world is almost always grey are deff not worth arguing with XD. i was mostly just commenting on my personal feelings with it. also they (FA) really are going to go after ai, and claim all cases are "bad", then by that logic they should also probably rethink people using any copyrighted character (like say pokemon for example). i can guaranty that 90+% of the uses we use them for would not be wanted by the original artists, and that is basically on the "same level", as ai images technically. both are used to "steal" from artists technically, and both often technically break copyright laws. so i really don't understand why with ai specifically, they are so strict about banning it.

(also sorry for the rant i just find a lot of the way they are handling things like this dumb)

If you use AI as a reference but the final product is 100% human drawn, then it is fine and should not be reported
