Please Read: FA Site Policy and Rita
It has come to my attention that, effective July 1st, 2023, Furaffinity is going to be implementing a new site policy that bans, among other things, "humanoids with childlike body proportions". Now, the thing with Rita is that she was never meant to be seen as a child, but rather just a nebulous Pokemon shortstack. If I were to pin an age on her, I'd say she was in her early 20s or something. The thing is, I don't know if I really have any control over this rule change and how people see her, and I am worried about the possibility if she falls under this rule change of "adolescent animals", despite that not being the intent in the first place.
So, what am I going to do about it? Personally, I'm not going to delete anything involving Rita unless Furaffinity absolutely forces me to. She's one of my favorite and most popular characters after all, and doing so would be stupid. I'm going to continue getting art and writing stories involving her. But if I get a warning and my entire gallery is threatened because of it, I will have no choice but to get rid of all the Rita stuff. Because of this, I heavily urge you all to archive all of the Rita stuff that you're a fan of.
If worst comes to worst, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. I will continue posting all of my Rita stuff to Eka's and Twitter, but if FA mods have a problem with her, I will have no choice but to stop posting stuff of her here, unfortunately. Hopefully, it won't come to that, and Rita would be in the clear, but you never know how these things get enforced.

And at that point, why even make such a vague rule? FA rule enforcement is about as incomprehensible as possible anyhow, so should they just discover such a case it'd be easy to see the signs that its just pedophilia or attraction to minors rather than in most cases where the character is just short.
It is so bizarre to see something like FA which is obviously run and staffed by random dudes and dudettes by their home computers and not some actual company with offices and work hours. So why the need to act like it by becoming as lobotomized as staff and management on larger corporations?
