To the admins of FA, I really don't care if you see this? But you really aren't protecting anybody, never have been. Minors do not care about your rules, they do not care about your "protection". They don't need protection, they need parenting. There have been plenty of incidents in the fandom of ACTUAL grooming and they more often than not were not people who perpetrated the art your staff seems to be against.
"Minors" and "Furry Fandom" do not mix, they shouldn't be anywhere NEAR this site, or this fandom, because of how hypersexualized that we KNOW it all is, but just won't admit to. Minors will find a way in, they will look at things they aren't supposed to, they will get picked up by somebody with bad intentions, because their parents won't parent, and your protections won't stop them from lying about their age or sneaking in anyway.
It's probably all for legal liability and whatnot but clearly the feedback you've gotten shows just how much people aren't happy with this kind of leadership and censorship...still, it's not that I care enough to make a complaint to you directly, only writing this, as your site has never given me the kind of exposure that other places have with far less restriction (and denial of reality).
You can't stop minors unless you purge them entirely from the site, and probably from the fandom. They do not need to be here, and you are just censoring innocent artists in favor of "protecting the children" when you are not their parents. It's sad but, again, I don't really care enough to do much more than this. I've all but moved on from FA except for the occasional post here and there and the most I ever feel the need to do to cover my own ass is reiterate how my work is NOT FOR ANYBODY UNDER 18. So if you're following me here, looking at my work when you aren't supposed to be, your parents clearly need to do a lot better. Get lost!

Dragoneer just can't wrap their heads around what we want. Even if it's for the benefit of this website. -_-
Just now I went to the frontpage and saw 2 ych reminders that had no tags or categories.
Changing usernames would be a pain in the ass to do since 1 the profile link isn't based on a number like on say e6, 2 descriptions with the previous username would need to update as well and 3 it would benefit scammers to just switch their username at will.
And for blocking, nothing stops people from just making a new account to bypass blocking.
Now I'm bot trying to play devil's advocate ... they sure were quick to add more ways to make money to the website without adding basic features ... hell they even removed the ability to upload uncompressed work and because of that broke gif uploads for the longest time. But so many of these features would actually need to either remake the website from the ground up or community effort when most people won't bother and just post their shit on twitter.
