It's block evasion, which is against the ToS (and not just the recent one).
And besides, I thought you hated what was in my gallery? So why are you upset that I won't let you comment on something that you don't want to see?
Yup. Since the admins started backpedaling hard and clarifying more and more what the proposed rules (allegedly) will NOT apply to, the purity trolls have started outing themselves.
I've already blocked at least a dozen users, one of which had previously done art for me (it has since been removed), and another I had known for years and many times tried to offer supportive comments to their many "life is hell" journals.
It hurt, but I need to remind myself the pain is not because some once decent people just suddenly turned on us. It's because some truly rotten people had successfully masqueraded as decent people for years without me being able to tell.
Both of those people had seen my gallery before -- they knew my poke'sona was a proud parent who carried his children around in his beak (just like the Pokedex says they do). And yet they were both all smiles to my face while they quietly pushed the admins, year after year, to make changes that they knew would affect that.
And BTW, both of them also had stuff in their galleries that I'm pretty sure would not have passed if the changes they had been pushing for were retained.
I could laugh at the hypocrisy of it, but I'm much more troubled by the knowledge that this is just the chip off the iceberg, that a lot more purity trolls are going to out themselves with temper tantrums at the admins for backpedaling on the purge (even if the admins are once again lying about it and the purge is still on), and it's going to be very surprising to see who some of them are.
But as unpleasant as it will be, it's also something we all need. Because, like I said, they didn't become rotten. They just stopped hiding it. And every time a troll accidentally outs himself, that's one less that can continue to pull this shit from the shadows in the future.
I'm still planning as if my suspension is inevitable -- the admins have been caught lying about this multiple times already and I don't trust them when they try to reassure me that the content in my gallery is exempt (especially not when much more prominent artists have already been suspended for the exact same "offenses"). But I'm also making a list of names of people who are going to be automatically blocked if they try to worm their way back into my life on any of the alternative sites.
If you are a purity troll who pushed for this shit, you will NEVER be forgiven. So try to content yourself with eventually being forgotten.

Yup. They're getting angry, which means they're also getting stupid. So even though I can't tell you where to look, you won't have to look hard.
Purity trolling is when you pretend to have some kind of moral high ground over the people you are pissing off by screwing things up deliberately.
The people who pushed hardest for these changes that have everyone posting "where to find me" journals pushed for them in the name of "protecting the children", but it's becoming more and more obvious with each passing day that they couldn't give half a shit in hell about the children and just wanted an excuse to ruin F.A. for a lot of its users.
Some will be letting me know that they are not responsible for the downfall of FA. Others will be accidentally letting me know that they are.
Just overnight, the number of users I had previously been watching who posted tantrums about the admins deciding to forgive SFW vore rose from two to eight. Including at least one user who freely admitted to having previously worried that they would need to stop using a character in vore under the policy as previously stated.
Usually, whenever someone I previously respected says or does something so horrible it causes them to go straight down onto my dick list, I post one last comment before blocking them for the simple reason that I believe even the biggest shitbag in Shitbagistan deserves to know exactly how, when and why they pissed someone off irreversibly (regardless of how they will use that information in the future).
But I actually got tired of doing that today. I just didn't have the energy to repeat myself six times to six different things that had previously been masquerading as people I thought I knew.
