New policies (for me) and new plans.

General
As some of you already know, I have been blocking anyone who has been demanding the F.A. admins reverse their stance on treating ALL "fetish" art as 18+ or posting extended, often misleading rants about the admins' decision to acknowledge that at least some of the category labels on F.A. are not sexual by default.
I have un-followed or blocked twenty-two users since. Three of them were artists whose work was reposted and promoted in my gallery. Five of them have since responded by attempting to commit block evasion. One of them even direct messaged me on DeviantArt and outright threatened me not to feature my poke'sona's children ever again (the DA devs have already been notified).
For they and anyone still trying to argue that all fetish art is adult art (except when it appears in Saturday morning cartoons because "hur, dur, duh, they didn't intend for it to be sexual!"), here is the definition of the word "Fetish" from Merriam-Webster:
1
a: an object (such as a small stone carving of an animal) believed to have magical power to protect or aid its owner
broadly : a material object regarded with superstitious or extravagant trust or reverence
b: an object of irrational reverence or obsessive devotion : prepossession
c: an object or bodily part whose real or fantasied presence is psychologically necessary for sexual gratification and that is an object of fixation to the extent that it may interfere with complete sexual expression
2: fixation
3: a rite or cult of fetish worshippers
Notice that the sexual definition is only the third footnote of one of three possible definitions.
The definition you should be more focused on, however, is #2 -- that of a "fixation".
Does it make it better to you purity trolls -- make it okay -- if I tell you that I do not have a vore fetish, I have a vore fixation?
(long awkward pause)
Yeah, who are we kidding? Stupid wretched things never gave half a shit in Hell about "protecting the children" and just wanted an excuse to write a million Trouble Tickets and shit on a million peoples' days while still feeling like you held the moral high ground somehow.
So now that we have that out of the way, here are my new personal policies.
#1: Anyone who expresses personal disapproval with the admins' decision to identify some categories as not sexual by default and allow underage characters to appear in non-sexualized "fetish" art, but otherwise make no attempt to force or lobby the admins to reverse this decision, will be un-followed, but will otherwise have their opinions respected and be ignored.
# Any artists featured in my gallery who do such will not have their reposts deleted or requests that F.A. users favorite the original instead be removed.
#2: Anyone who tries to lobby the admins to reverse the decision, whether on their accounts directly via shouts or comments, by posting "rant" temper tantrum journals, or by espousing any of the same moronic talking points I have already ridiculed a thousand times over by now, will be put on my block list.
# Any artists previously featured in my gallery who commit this offense will have their submissions replaced with the placeholder image immediately in my gallery excluding instances where doing so might be considered "calling out" (IE: submissions with high numbers of faves even though I told them to fave the originals, or artists who have contributed a sizeable number of reposts).
# Requests to favorite the original will be removed. Some artists have already had these requests removed after "cleaning out" their galleries, so this should not be taken as a form of calling out.
#3: You will no longer be informed that you have been put on block. I used to take the time to explain to the purity trolls why their arguments against were B.S., but I've repeated myself so many times that I can only conclude they never had any interest at all in anything other than gutting F.A. for their own amusement. If you have recently been blocked, consider this journal your notice.
Okay. Now onto my plans for F.A. for the future...
#1: I will not be quitting F.A. nor deleting anything from my gallery. I leave that up to fate and the admins.
#2: I presently have an incomplete fanfic and some pending commissions. These will be posted / reposted as soon as is appropriate following my pre-shitstorm guidelines.
#3: After this, I will not be making any commissions through FurAffinity for the remainder of June. If, in the second week of July, I still have an active F.A. account, I will consider the shitstorm to have passed and resume business as usual as best one can in the post-shitstorm state. Until then, artists will only be commissioned through their accounts at other websites.
#4: I might go silent in July, but this should not be taken as an indication that I have quit F.A. I've got a big long to-do list and it'll be a lot easier to focus if I don't need to worry about maintaining a continuous internet connection or using it to check on F.A.
#5: I will look into any and all possible alternatives to F.A. Right now, they all appear to have one drawback and/or red flag or another, so I won't post a "where you can find me" journal until I've had a chance to really vet my options and make a choice that fits my needs. I may open an account at Inkbunny, for example, to stay in touch with other artists, but I've already ruled it out as possibly being a good fit for myself.
Thank you, good night, and good luck.

Does that mean that I can't show that rock in any of my art then, unless it's rated mature, since it's literally a fetish by the above definition?
There's a joke in there somewhere, I just don't know if making it would be appropriate. You never know, especially now!
Sounds like a good plan though, I should sit down and think about what I'm going to do here.
I don't have the energy to deal with all the red tape. D:
