Am I crazy? Or is Air Fortress on NES criminally overlooked when it comes to discussing difficult retro games. I mean, I'm no slouch when it comes to tough games. Challenging video games pretty much sustain me, and I've beaten some doozies in my day, like Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts, the original TMNT for NES, Contra: Hard Corps (although haven't gotten every ending), ActRaiser 2, and the entire NES trilogy of Ninja Gaiden. Yet the ending for Air Fortress has continued to elude me my entire life. Am I just bad at that game in particular? Or is there some vindication to my struggles.
