So it turns out that my original PayPal has been indefinitely suspended due to an age discrepancy. After contacting their customer service it's unfortunately gone forever.

However, they did allow me to make a new account, as well as withdrawing the remaining funds from my old account by enabling me to change my old account name to match it with my bank account.

This means I could still accept commissions using my new PayPal account. However, I still have a catalog of commissions I need to work with first, and after all of those are finished, I will definitely let you guys know!
