First challenge, making it to NY Penn Station, where my train leaves at 10:50am.
What challenge, you say? I do these trips entirely by public transit.

(Protip: Jersey Mike's in 30th St. takes more time to make a cheese steak than most people waiting out the Pennsylvanian's layover have. I had to abandon my purchase to avoid the train leaving without me. I won't say I just missed disaster, but by the time I made it back to the platform, walked thru two cars and took my seat, the train was moving. Won't be doing that again)

It wasn't like this here last year. I think AC is trying to out-draw MFF...OVER NINE THOUSAAÀAND!! and then some)

--08:47p: Made it past the partition wall. It didn't get any better. Instead of a very long line reaching all the way across the zoo, you now confront what must be 15 or more tightly-wound rows of 30-ish feet of pre-regs... and all this is ONE LINE.

--09:26p: Boarded Blue shuttle. Had to put my "trailers" in seats since like last year's, the aisle is too narrow for rolling suitcases. And it's six steps up from curb level :p
