I wanted to ramble a bit regarding the topic because i once again saw a post on twitter with obviosly AI generated image beeing passed as a human created commission. And although a lot of people were calling out the AI even more are defending it, saying its real human art. And this sent me into spiral.
I have been feeling this growing despair and hopeless regarding art. I can not explain how much i hate AI, how much i despise everyone who is endorsing it.
I look around my apartment, at my beatiful botanic themed wallpapers, at my ornamental curtains, at some cute mug i got from a local store. And i know that in 10 or so years all of it would have been made by AI. I think how in the future, every book, every pamphlet, every poster, literally everything that may have some merit of creativity will be automated. And i feel sick, i feel sad.
I am not too afraid for my career and livelihood (yet haha) because there will always be communities that appreciate and seek out real art. But i am just so so upset that this is the reality that we now live in. This is not the end of the world or the some horrible tragedy. But the world has become a little bit worse.
With that said i can only hope that art will prevail, thar creativity will prevail. Keep going everyone, keep drawing, keep writing, keep designing, keep crafting, keep sculpting, keep doing every form of creative expression, of human expression. I love art, and i want to see more of it!

We'll all laugh at how bad AI is with fingers and natural language flow, maybe it'll address that. But it won't be able to make anything but soulless surface level beauty as it cannot impart emotions and understanding into what it makes, only repackage predictions based on existing work. Given how much the rich and tech-bros seem to love for that sort of surface level stuff there's no surprise there why they endorse it and make such trash.
Twitter isnt an art site though, its a drama platform.
