You Know What I Hate?

One of the things I tend to do when writing is I'll switch between past tense and present tense. Usually not in the same story, but I will write different stories in past or present tense depending on the story. What I hate is that often times when writing a story, I'll go back to proofread (always a good idea ;D), and realize I've switched up past and present tenses. This might not bother me so much if I did it maybe once or twice every couple of pages, but what usually happens is I'll switch tense for a couple of paragraphs every couple of pages, meaning I have to make corrections to multiple words every sentence for a couple of paragraphs. And this is when writing in past tense. If I'm writing a story that's in present tense, it's even worse. I'll sometimes switch back to past tense for whole pages, making the proofreading process even more tedious.
Anyway, there's a random bit of musing about me. Have a good day. ^.^
