Hey ho so, the last week I've been camping at a campsite half way between Bridgewater NS and Lunenburg NS. If you've been following the news you may have heard that we got a lil bit of rain. Just a small shower of 300mm over a day. So it's been a bit damp. Actually very lucky we didnt flood out, we were one of the few that didn't. Lots of cars completely flooded out, tents under over a meter of water, because the camp has a small lake on its border. That lake was like maybe 150cm flooded over, can even walk to the old shoreline hah. More emergency alerts in a day than the last two years, most of them about evacuations from local water level control dams at risk of failing. Many highways in the area have kinda, ceased to exist with washouts where creeks and rivers ran through. Things like this seem to follow me around. 30 cm (about a foot) of rain in 12 hours, silly. Everything's fine, we just lost a day of sightseeing lmao.
