Welp, my first block on FA.

I finally blocked a person here, for the first time. I've been on this site literally over 17 years, but it finally happened. A conservative troll that wanted to "have a discussion", went about as well as any "discussion" ever goes with a conservative. I thought it ended well when we "agreed to disagree", and talk about nothing political, except a week later they got a bug up their tailhole and decided to send me a bunch of stupid crap. Trying to put words in my mouth, trying to "gotcha" me with the whole SuperStraight idea, and trying to equate the entire "left" (myself included) to the crazy people who think stripping men of all rights and locking them in one-room huts is somehow going to "make the world a utopia".
These people really do think we live in a bubble, and can't see what they're up to. Multiple times, this person claimed I get 100% of my information from "left propaganda" sources that lie to me. As opposed to, say, just seeing words from Republican politicians from their own mouths. Seeing what letters they sign and announcements they make. Seeing what laws they pass targeted at oppressing LGBT people and especially trans people. That, or they somehow aren't paying attention to their own side, so wrapped up in the lies of their echo chambers that they truly think Republicans can do no wrong, and anyone who tries to tell them awful things happening are just "spreading lies and propaganda".
Or maybe this person was literally just a troll, and their entire behavior was simply a persona, crafted to appear innocent and naive so I would waste more time trying to educate them. Only for them to completely dismiss every single word of everything I say as a lie, or just not even read it at all and continue to claim I hold beliefs I already told them I did not. Who knows?
But what's really frustrating is that this is only one person. For some reason, I've been getting a BUNCH of these people, invading spaces and starting confrontations for no reason other than to be hateful. In the last week or two alone, I've had nothing but endless encounters, almost every single day. I don't get it, and frankly, I'm done putting up with it.
A person that joins a Discord server and starts with "I don't mind trans people, but I don't like it when they make it their entire personality." It's not my "entire personality", but I can't exactly have a discussion about those other parts when conservatives not only refuse to acknowledge that other parts of my personality exist, but are also advocating for my death because I'm trans. So sorry the "I think I have a right to exist" is being shoved in your face, maybe if you stopped making a fight about it and just let us live in peace, you wouldn't be confronted with my desire to not be murdered so much. Just a thought.
Another person on another server fires off a salvo of bigot garbage, so I avoid this person as much as I can. They push a confrontation over a remark I made, where I mentioned that JK Rowling's TERF and transphobe views make it so I can't really feel comfortable trying to get into Harry Potter. They ask for proof that she has transphobic views, but like all conservative "arguments", it was really a ploy to ask me to waste my time gathering evidence, so they can dismiss it as fake. Rowling's own tweets, from her own hands, are called "out of context" because there was that one time she said she doesn't hate ALL trans people. You know, that one "please don't lynch me" weaseling in the middle of her essay on "Why I'm campaigning against trans people being able to have rights". Surely that one single line outweighs all the times she calls trans women awful things and accuses us of only trying to enter womens' restrooms to assault cisgender women, and writes two novels where the villain is doing exactly that. Yes, clearly she's not actually hateful, and I'm imagining it. And when I tried to drop the argument and tell the server owner that I was upset, that I couldn't deal with it, I was told I was overreacting and said owner sat there and defended this bigot's lies. "You can't SAY that trans people don't molest kids, because there's gotta be at least one trans person who's done that! The presence of this one hypothetical individual invalidates your entire group!" Trying to explain that is an absurd argument gets ignored as "overreacting". Trying to use examples to show how ridiculous that is gets "Stop putting words in my mouth". Trying to tell this person what trans people are actually like gets ignored because "surely there's at least one horrible trans person, so you can't say 'zero' trans people are like this". So I left the server, unfriended and blocked that owner.
I'm just really frustrated and tired with these hateful idiots worming their way into my space to get in my face about their bigotry, and somehow saying I'm in the wrong when I refute their garbage. Well, I'm done playing chess with pigeons. I'm done trying to be kind and reach out to these idiots, just in case they're misguided and on the fence. I'm done playing along with their offers of a discussion, because every single time it's bad faith. Every, single, time.
If you're "conservative" and you want to "debate" me, DON'T. I've spoken with hundreds of you idiots over the decades, and you've only gotten worse and more hateful with every year. I will not be listening to the views of anyone who supports anti-trans legislation, who believes I deserve to be hauled out into the street and shot for being who I am. This is not a "political" stance. My existence is not a political debate. And I am sick and tired of evil monsters using "It's my political opinion!" as a shield to make their bigotry and lies somehow unassailable. I'm not even going to call you out on your bullshit, because conservatives don't care it's bullshit. Being bullshit is a feature, not a bug, because it takes zero effort to just come up with more bullshit and bury me in an endless stream. I'm just going to block you and move on with my life. I have yet to see a single conservative that was reachable. And you are not going to convince me that I shouldn't have the right to live.
Unlike conservatives, I won't wish death on people I disagree with, but I'm not going to waste my time reaching out to people who are only going to slap my hand away and call me slurs. I can't believe half this country got so mad over a dark-skinned President that they jumped whole-heartedly into hate and are trying to start a civil war because they want to murder the other half of their own country.

And yeah, they're so hateful that they can't pass laws fast enough. They've already attacked the nation's Capitol in order to try to install an unelected dictator because they think the most closely-watched election in the history of elections was somehow stolen, because the guy who said "If I lose, I'll just claim it's stolen" lost and claimed it was stolen. They don't care about logic, facts, evidence, or anything that gets in the way of their feelings. Their representatives in the government talk about starting a civil war just so they can get their way. It's insane.
If it wasn't for that, Ireland would be great, though so would a lot of other countries. Australia, probably not, my autonomic nervous system damage seems to have reduced my ability to tolerate heat, plus all the things that are constantly trying to kill you there. I do not handle giant bugs well... ^_^;;
Thank you for the support, it helps a lot to hear voices that aren't theirs. I'll likely be fine soon enough, it's just the constant bombardment over the last couple weeks.
Aside from writing, I just zone out in front of YouTube videos, mostly about vintage computer repair and a couple people that play games. ^_^;;
So it's blab about writing, or complain about life. And I'd rather not think about life any more than I have to.
Just do what you think is right and the people who support you will always support you.😊
Part of the issue is that with the FA Notes person, even after we agreed to stop talking about politics, he just randomly started sending more politics notes after a week. And with all of them, it's hard to "agree to disagree" when their position is that my existence should be outlawed, I should be jailed or killed for being trans, and they continue to spread lies about all trans people doing horrible things to children.
Thank you for the support. I'm working on calming down, it was just the constant bombardment of these people from different angles that got to me. That feeling that there is no space free of their hate. I'll probably be back to normal in a day or two, barring yet more of these people.
they are like comedians but not funny and problematic. anyone is fair game to get hit with the troll brigade. seen it happen to others as well who got hit with trolls.
If you take "I don't want an argument and will not tolerate bigotry and hate" as a personal attack, maybe you should look into your ethics and morals.
"How I treat Conservatives" is a hell of a lot nicer than how Conservatives have treated me. I don't wish death on you. I don't wish pain. I don't want you to lose your rights. I don't want you to be hunted and killed by angry mobs. I don't try to push for legislation that makes your existence illegal. I don't try to label you child molesters.
I don't do anything to you except refuse to put up with hate. What I do is show you the door. I would LOVE for you to come to your senses and stop making your heart a home for hatred. I would LOVE for you to open your eyes and have Compassion for fellow human beings. But you won't. No Conservative ever does. You wallow in hatred like a pig in filth. You spew lies into the mud and roll around in it, and then you try to drag us down into it with you. All I do is refuse.
And believe it or not, I don't hate you. I truly do want you to find happiness, peace, love, comfort, joy, all of that. But you will not find it in bigotry. You will not find it by raising arms against your fellow human beings. You will not find it by trying to tear down and attack people. You will not find it through division and fear and hatred. You will not find it if you follow Falsehood, Hatred, and Cowardice, instead of Truth, Love, and Courage. You will only find bitterness and loneliness. You will only find jealousy, deceit, and shame. You will only find ruin. And I wish for you to have a better outcome in life than that.
I have no idea what you're trying to get at with this comment. But your journals have explicitly said you want me to "rot in hell", unironically use the terms "woke mob/alphabet mafia", accuse trans people of "targeting kids", and have generally just been a thoroughly hate-filled person. So if you think this is some kind of "tough-guy act", it's not working.

and one can blame the whole ideological left entrenched in the deep state and the upper levels of society for pushing this shit on everyone causing said varied responses. it all started with them going in to melt down mode over berexit earlier in 2016 followed up by the populist win latter that year and they have been on there terror campagins ever since there masks dropped, destroyed in every way to sunday to show just how far they are willing to go to try and stop anything that threatens there power.
what makes the situation worse then what it is now that it shows just how much the country has trully split between the populist movements (currently housed in the right at the moment.) and all stages of the left wing idelogical spectrum. its going to take generations to fix that to get close to true unity again i fear. the private life is political now all due to the left pushing that shit.... nothing is safe.
as for the journals and all of that hate the political left for using the lot as meat shields/trogin horses to push there gate way socialist agendas to get to the evil three. (aka normal fascism, national socialism and communism.) that is what I despise those who are using the lot as meat shields. there handlers/masters are the ones who are guilty of this shit. and many people even those who are politically on the center that lean in both directions can see this shit as night and day. (as for what to do about it and deal with it as of now is the rub on top of finding more and more layers of the problems to deal with. and it's going to be messy to deal with them all.)
the troll brigades hit anyone at will at any time and any place. it can be me one day who get's victimized by said troll brigades and the next it can be 10 to 20+ people that we know on our own social ends. they don't discriminate on there targets to them all are fair game to go after.
yeah i think you have hit the mistaken thing with me. usually I don't post much on here out right other then coming on to my account to clear my inbox and do what most people do with the favs, comments, and normal shit on FA. hell for me mostly (and with most people out right.) its more of the 'lurker' type to watch one's favorite artists and fav there content. hell you can see the disparity with what i have posted in the gallery to fav gallery as my defense of this. and there are some journals i have on here especally with the ones that I was a victim of. (aka blocked for no reason despite watching them for a long time and even not even commenting on anything of there works etc.) now that's some bullshit there.
again the only ones who i despise are the political pushers who use the various things out there as there meat shields for there infamous ways. on top of the real criminals who also use said various things as there smoak screen to hide there crimes behind. it is they who deserve to be punished. said communities who are plagued by this need to clean house of these problems themselves to reduce there number to a point where they pose minimal at best (and realistically as practical ) to the idea way of it being non existent. before those on the outside of said communities looking in have to do this for them and no one will like the results when that happens. for all parties involved.

This started because Obama was elected, and racists lost their minds. They saw that people were moving past divisions based on skin color, and it scared them, so they riled up hate and fear and grabbed power. They rallied behind Trump because he knew how to play crowds. They used to wear a mask of "I'm not racist, but..." and keep their bigotry behind closed doors, but now they were struck with fear that it wasn't enough to be racist in secret. So they pushed to make racism and intolerance the law of the land.
Brexit happened because Evil people in the UK saw Trump's success and copied his methods, ramping up hatred and xenophobia and using Falsehood to fool people into voting against their own interests. Take a look at how many people in the UK found themselves completely surprised by the consequences of passing Brexit.
Take a look at the actual definition of fascism. Like, the actual 14 defining characteristics of fascism, not what Fox News claims is fascist. Compare what Trump and the GOP say and do to those characteristics.
Know them by their actions. Trump does nothing but commit fraud, rape, theft, perjury, everything. Trump is facing, what, 96 criminal indictments? And somehow it's the LEFT that are criminals? The rest of the GOP act against the American people, including their own supporters. They fight against funding, then happily take credit for the funding they voted against. They campaign on "border security" and then destroy the legislation they demanded because Trump wants to campaign on fear-mongering about the border. They work to strip rights from everyone they can besides themselves. They lie to their own supporters so much, they got an angry mob to storm the Capitol.
Trump and the others willfully tried to destroy democracy, tried to usurp control of the government, tried to defy the vote of the American people, in a desperate bid to remain in power. The election was not stolen. It was the most closely-watched election in the HISTORY of elections, because Trump said in advance that he would simply claim it was stolen if he lost. And he did. And people believed him. Trump is an enemy of America, he is an enemy of humanity itself. He and his family stole money from a charity for children with cancer, for the love of God. They have no morals but greed. And his supporters have no goals but hate.
"I have a right to live" is not a political statement. You yourself state in your journals that you oppose LGBT people. You yourself state that LGBT people are the enemy. You continue to support people who work, on a daily basis, to actively endanger me. That is not politics, that is hate. You hate me.
Right vs Left? Conservative vs Progressive? Republican vs Democrat? I don't care about any of those. I care about "Who is trying to push genocide?" I care about "Who is acting out of Evil?" I care about "Who is staging a violent insurrection?" And I refuse to support people who act in those ways. I choose to support people who are advocating for the rights of people to live their lives without harming others. I choose to support people who are advocating for people to have food, breathable air, a survivable planet, housing, the things needed for life to exist. I choose NOT to support people who push for death.
There is no "both sides" argument when one side pushes for the violent genocide of the other. There is no "middle ground" with the GOP, there is only complete and total obedience and the wholesale destruction of all who do not serve them.
You are not being blocked "for no reason". You are being blocked because you support Evil. The two names I saw in those journals that I recognized are both trans girls. They most likely blocked you for advocating for their deaths. And if I block you, it will be because you hate me for existing.
If you want to stop being blocked, then take a long, hard look at the things you say and do. Take a long, hard look at the actions and policies of those you support. Question how well the people you support, and you yourself, align with Truth, Love, and Courage. How well they and you align with Honesty, Compassion, Valor, Justice, Honor, Sacrifice, Spirituality, and Humility. Leave behind those who align with Falsehood, Hatred, and Cowardice and would ask you to follow that path.
I will not debate this further. Trans rights are human rights. Black lives matter. Human beings should not be murdering human beings. Continue to argue otherwise, and I will block you.
You personally may not hate all the people they do, but you still support that hate. You support the people who would gun down people in the streets given the chance because they are different. And lets just say as an example, the "radical left" is defeated, all that remains in the US is conservatives. What do you think will happen? You'll all live peacefully from then on? They run on hate, and will then turn against each other. You will be one of the first people they go. You are a furry, and I promise you, ask pratically any MAGA member what they think about furries and they'll say they need to be gunned down along with the rest of their targets.
It's not the left that's trying to take over, it's the right. The left are just people who want to live peacefully, while the right want to strip them of any rights they have. You need to rethink who the real criminals are, because it certainly isn't the left.

I was gonna comment about how I, the computer programmer, the one called "robot" and "Vulcan" by most people, am "too far gone in my emotion".
I was also going to comment about how the politicians he supports are the ones who spread lies about litter boxes in school bathrooms, in order to bank on furry hate to attack trans people.
But it's not like he'd actually look at what his Glorious Leaders are doing, he's too busy ignoring definitions of words and letting Fox News tell him what to think. Oh, and hating black people, that's a key component of his day, it seems. That's why he's got his annual tradition of posting racist conspiracy stuff on MLK Day, because he can't accept that black people are people too.
Gotta love how he doesn't engage with a single thing either of us said beyond "Nuh-uh!" Though, admittedly, it's a little interesting that he lumps "national socialism" in with the "evils of the Left", considering people like him usually LOVE a certain National Socialist Party.
Ah well. As I said in the journal, every single conservative only argues in bad faith, and is never reachable. This was exactly how I knew it would go from the beginning, it's the way it always does.
Compassion dictates I at least try to give them a chance, though I probably could've been a little more gentle about it. But Honesty demands I refute falsehoods, and Conservatives don't have any arguments without that.
But yeah, this is how they argue, they don't, they just throw conspiracies around like they're the word of god, and then get angry that people don't side with them

There are radicals on both sides, unfortunately these people exists and we have to deal with it, or just ignore them, you made the right choice to stay away and block these individuals.
I have meet three trans friends recently, they are amazing friends and people, and I feel happy to have met them. I've never seen them in person, we live far away from each other, but we've already agreed to see each other if I go to the city where they live (which is where a friend of mine lives who I intend to meet one day, and other friends too).
The best thing you can do is to stay away from these people, dealing with radicals will only hurt you, they will never hurt you and you'll feel only more frustrated. One of the main reasons I don't even talk about politics or sensitive topics is to avoid losing friends, people think differently and I've already accepted that, the best thing to do is not to get carried away in discussions and avoid touching on sensitive subjects with people who can or will get into a heated argument.
Also, I'm from Brazil, this doesn't means much since we have a similar situation here, but I understand you. Peace.
I believe people should be free to live their lives as they choose, as long as they're not harming others. I don't feel like people (including myself) have the right to tell others how to live their lives. I shouldn't be forced to eat a vegan diet, and those who choose veganism for themselves shouldn't be forced to eat meat. I shouldn't be forced to follow a religion, just as I would never try to force people to abandon theirs, or even follow the Virtues that I believe in. But if someone is going to make "Force others to obey my rules" part of their religion, that goes against my belief in personal freedom.
But as far as more political beliefs, I also believe the purpose of a government is to provide the infrastructure that enables everyone to live their lives in peace. To ensure people have access to the things they need: food, water, shelter, utilities. The things needed to survive in the world. Collect and allocate taxes for the benefit of everyone, not only a specific group. To prevent things like monopolies that get out of hand, to put regulations in place to prevent harm. So, environmental protections, financial protections, that kind of thing. I don't claim to have all the answers, but I don't have much issue with people who don't share these ideas.
There are definitely some pretty crazy people on both sides, sure, but it certainly seems like there are FAR more crazy people on Team Trump. And that the Republican party here gleefully revels in it. I say sometimes, only partially joking, that "The Left calls their extremists 'Crazy', the Right calls their extremists 'Senator'." I'm not really a fan of any politicians, but I will still vote for the side that doesn't openly advocate insurrection, doesn't try to put forth as President someone who is a traitor, someone who openly plans to be a dictator, someone who tear-gasses protestors in order to take a photo while holding a Bible upside down, someone who is facing 91 criminal indictments... Personally, I can't wait for the GOP/Republican party to collapse under the weight of its own bigotry and hatred, so that the Democratic party can actually start campaigning on things other than "At least we aren't these monsters!" I feel like they've not been pushing as hard for things that improve the lives of the people, though some of that might be because of how much effort it takes to stop the never-ending tide of terrible things coming from the other side.
At this point, when I argue at all, I don't do it to try to change the mind of the other person. I know it's futile. I've never met one of these radicals, the ones who start off with attacks, who argue in good faith, who have any interest in listening at all. So when I confront them, I do it so anyone watching can see the lies challenged. I will show Truth, Love, and Courage against their Falsehood, Hatred, and Cowardice. And those watching can make their choice about what appeals to them.

This crap is all too common, and just one of the reasons that I don't want to be on Discord, much less the surveillance capitalism model of "Social" media.
Never submit to sealioning. Anyone who can't look up easily available facts up for themselves is hardly worth your time, because even if you send them verifiable facts in a link or a search term to look for, you know damn well that they'll just ignore it or say that it's leftist propaganda anyway.
I've even had people insist that I was relying on sources like CNN, MSNBC, or The View when I never look at crap like that unless it's reffed on an actually reliable independent source. I've never even watched The View at all. They don't even realize that excellent independent media exists, and how superior that is to the corporate media, let alone the right wing media. Good indy media cites their sources. Everybody needs to learn critical media literacy, but that's anathema to the right. I suppose that the right's idea of independent media is the fact free rage bait of the week on teh interwebs that they seem to suck up and regurgitate so eagerly. When I tell these folks that I don't use those as sources, of course they refuse to believe me. I'm obviously a lib! -Don't damn me with faint praise. I'm a fucking anarchist, and proud of it.
It's all about the fear of anything different. They see that as a threat to their tenuous and slipping grip on power. That's why they do things like sowing hate against minorities that they see as being weak for their perceived and cynical political advantage, and poking their ugly noses into other people's genitals when those people obviously pose absolutely zero threat to them or anyone else.
The crap these days about trans kids is particularly egregious. Never mind how the current practices are the standard of medical and psychological care that's been long approved by every reputable association of doctors and psychologists, right wingers and politicians CLEARLY know better. Never mind how difficult this often is for those kids, even when they're lucky enough to have supportive parents, and never mind the potential harm to those kids if they don't have access to quality supportive care.
And of course there's a "Trans ideology". -Sure wouldn't want anyone to catch the trans! They're obviously grooming our kids!
The "TERFs" are particularly remarkable. Talk about mental gymnastics...
And the sheer number of idiots claiming that trans people and drag queens are a particular threat to kids is just ridiculous. This is just a resurrection of the stupid and tired stories from decades ago that I remember were claiming that gay people all practiced pedophilia and bestiality. If these loud mouthed morons ACTUALLY gave a fuck about CSA they'd know that the overwhelming majority of people who do that are relatives of the kids and close associates of the family, and next adults who have regular access to kids when they have situations where they can get the kids alone. This sure ain't happening at drag queen story hours, but of course that's a much easier target.
And yeah, with these right wingers it's all about what Steve Bannon calls "Flooding the zone with shit". Throw enough crap out there and the facts lose meaning and get drowned in the cesspool.
