Have you considered opening for like 12-24 hours instead of first-come-first-serve? That way you can pick the characters and ideas that interest you most, instead of going with whoever happened to click the post first.

yea, i have 'contest' as a rule for the 'drawing' commission category. for 'sketches' it always was 'first-come-first-serve'
