Artists like comments.
Writers NEED comments.
Tell writers what you think, even if you hate it. Is being 'based' a good thing or a bad one? The impression I've gotten hearing it around makes it sound negative but the definitions I'm finding online all seem to say it's a positive thing (although context seems to be an important factor).
