Hey there. I just wanted to give some updates about my old Discord but first, if you havent done it yet, please Block and Delete the account Green Stranger#2295 and let anybody who you might know to have it do the same.

Quick Rundown :

On Sunday 27 I was victim on a phising bot who proceeded to hijack and lock me out of my account. It then proceeded to send messages to my contact list "asking for your opinion on some game or pixel art project" . Thankfully, the Discord support team was quick to react and managed to get my account back relatively quickly. I have managed to access to my account again however, it seems it is still busted with the bot. I will eventually be deleting the account myself, but first I need to go trough my chat logs to see if there was any kind of sensitive info this hijacker might have had access to so, it is very possible the bot might be active while I work on that, which is why I am reminding people again to please Block and Delete the account Green Stranger#2295. I will post a new contact info once Im done solving this issue.

I think thats all for now - I am terribly sorry for the inconvenience and I really hope you guys didnt got into trouble because of me-

Have you tried changing your password? That should reset your login token and prevent accessing your account through it (this is what most of them rely on). Clearing out your authorised apps and connections could help as well.

I did all that already however, it seems the bot is still runing in the background since several people told me I contacted them when I logged at that account ( which I didnt) It seems than it is completely Busted no matter what I do.

Since they made you run malware, that could still be active on your system unless you managed to find and clean that already.

on the computer? I dont think so -I reformated the whole thing- As for Discord, I just stayed logged in long enough to change the security settings, but nothing beyond that

If you change your PW and enable 2FA and they still have access to your account, the only other thing that makes sense is your machine is compromised.
And even then, that still means they're bypassing your 2fa some how.

If you can't do 2fa for some reason, then it's very likely they have your machine compromised.

there used to be a way to get a backup of all your data out of discord, lots of logs incase you need to refer back to anything... not sure if they still have that...

Just dealt with them sending me the spiel, told them "Ah, hope you get your account back soon" after they sent that message of them working on a project and asking if I could help finish, they instantly removed me, lol

Please send me a screenshot if you are able. Im currently compiling information to send at the Discord team. Hopefully I can get that account deleted. Also , please block and delete that account inmediately after -I do not want people risking themselves into getting bambozled by it-

I know. Im going to have to contact discord for updates because they are taking their time with their investigation. At this point I consider everithing from that account completely lost°

It looks like the account is now greenstranger012, but I assume that's the same one you're talking about? I got the following message from it: "my friend has a game and I need a check and feedback from people to enter the game and play for only 5 minutes to support him."

I assume this is the bot?

Yes. It is still the bot. I have no longer access to that account -I will be deleting it as soon as I get it back so there is no real loss if you block and delete it yourself a bit early-

Unfortunably it is -Discord is still "investigating" wether or not the bot harassing people might be in fact a hack- I would appreciate if you could block and delete the account for I have no intention of using it again even if I get it back.
