How did Paypal find out about the NSFW content? Cause I've been paying people through Paypal for ages and not had an issue with it

A friend alerted me about Paypal, gave me these useful tips:
Only use simple descriptions without going into details, without explaining that it is NSFW and without linking to sites where you have NSFW content.
Never specify that it is digital art, that already makes Paypal suspicious.

yepp, probably, I always avoided putting lewdy words in my transaction descriptions, so there was no way for them to knowing that I sell nsfw, and as far as I know Payoneer doesn't like it neither, but patreon has only them as payment method :/

should be good enough to atleast get the money out of it but yeah some people are assholes and report your stuff for no reason

Unfortunately my patreon had too much explicit stuff that made paypal trigger the ban :< they're using webcrawlers to see my content and they detected the stuff like "pussy_version_alt" "cum_alt" (filenames in my patreon) and even the NSFW tag there

wow that's stupidly meticulous, never expected them to go to such extents to track users.

BuyMeACoffee and Boosty have worked very well for me :3 They can go direct to bank and both accept from PayPal (as in, the buyer of the commission can use their PP).

But wait! That doesn't make any sense! In Patreon, you can be paid only with PayPal and Payoneer, and Patreon accepts NSFW, but only if you put it as a paid content for your Patreon.

So, to post NSFW on Patreon, you need to sell it to get paid on websites who forbid to sell NSFW content with their services!?

ikr, and from what I read online briefly, one of the supposed reasons payment processors aren't a fan of NSFW content is because they had gotten a ton of charge backs for online nsfw content back in the 2000s and then they considered said content to be high risk (roughly you would have to pay more for the stuff) and they never updated it to reflect the present day.

Yeah unfortunately Patreon only accepts these methods for my country at least, there's also stripe but they don't like nsfw either xP
I wish that there was a directly bank transfer like subscribestar does, I'm using payoneer for now and it's working well, I'll try to be cleaner and don't post explicit stuff there so I won't trigger anything

Paypal detected nsfw stuff on my patreon and that's why I got banned, I was using patreon with paypal since 2020, but now paypal changed their terms last year and they are using bots to detect nsfw stuff in our business, and as patreon was linked to my paypal for payouts, stuff like filenames and lewd tags were detected, but well that was my fault, I put too much explicit stuff there, I know it's my fault because there is a lot of NSFW artists, and a lot of them are famous but they didn't got banned

So Paypal is using bots to detect NSFW tags and keywords in titles?
Does that mean we need to edit all our titles and tags to avoid things like this to happen? How the other famous NSFW artists avoid to get banned? Did you find any answer by any chance?

Yep x3 it doesn't make sense at all haha, it's my fault that I let them detect me, there's alot of artists using it and most of them didn't had any issue
