Another Birthday Oriented Update

Keeping to a fairly reliable system of "at least two months per update" here's a new journal update!
So, surprising little, the game idea didn't fully pan out. Ultimately I overworked and burnt myself out something fierce. I still have a lot there I'd like to continue working with and doing so I have no intention of stopping. At the moment I've shifted my focus to working through my overloaded backlog of games amongst other personal things. I can't make any promises to when I'll return work on what I did.
Past that, been doing alright! It's my birthday again so I'm officially 31. Not THAT old, but pretty old for the internets, or at least with the people I end up being around.
Mostly been playing Hi-Fi Rush lately which has been great. I'm looking to finish the full story - including some post-game content, but afterwards I'll be moving onto whatever comes next. Haven't decided if that's going to be Pikmin 3 or Divinity: Original Sin 2 yet. Or some other side title that I've been putting off of playing for a bit. We'll see.
Not really any new art to reveal or writing to do. Hoping to change that sometime soon. I know my rhythms so once I get to a place where I'm ready to sweep around to that, I'll get back into making stuff.
And hopefully soon, with the end of October and the start of November, it's another year of Sumovember. I'm planning on participating again, though how I'm not sure yet. I had thought about participating in Octumber or whatever it had been called though various reasons led to me not doing it. I'm sure I'll get some pieces together <3
