2023 Drawathon Conclusion
With the last drawing of the month done, I figured it would be nice to write a little summary of it all.
Firstly I'd like to thank those who followed along, whether it was with favourites or simply looking, it always means a lot. It's pretty wild how fast a month appears to go by... I sit here, looking at the little slips of names piled up on the corner of my desk, with a feeling of contentedness. It's not my first time doing this, mind you. I did a drawing a day back in July of 2021, I just never uploaded it here for some reason (perhaps I'll place them in the scraps at some point). But there was still a part of me worrying that I wouldn't see it through. I think having something to draw that I'm passionate about is key. It's been lovely reminiscing on these wonderful games I've played. And it's especially nice to doodle this wide range of animal inspirations that I've been meaning to for a long while.
With it done, there's also a sense of relief. It'll be nice to have the time back in the mornings, especially on days with work. And it's been hard to find the time and energy to doodle my own characters during all this. My ever-revolving mind has conjured up many a thought that I look forward to drawing at my regularly slow pace.
All in all, I'm rather pleased with with the drawings I've done throughout. I genuinely can't pick a favourite. I will, however, give a shoutout to Krumblor for the sole fact I spent a rather absurd amount of hours drawing cookies.
