It's been awhile...
It's been a while since I've posted a journal here, mainly because I didn't know what to say... so here it goes.
Honestly I believe I've spent the majority of this year in a depression. Mainly from losing my dog back in April due to old age... a day didn't go by that I didn't think about him or miss his presence. This lead me to becoming even more of a loner, losing contact with people I once knew, becoming a workaholic, and playing more video games to distract myself. I was living in a self imposed isolation which I now realize wasn't healthy.
One highlight during the summer was my friend Lazy traveled to Minnesota to vacation with me. Showing him around the state was a nice change in atmosphere that I needed. By the end of the week he helped me feel better and since then I've realized I need to stop living in such extreme social isolation. It's not healthy for anyone since we are social creatures who need to talk, laugh, and have feelings!
So now I've determined is time for a change. I'd like to use this journal as a way to break the ice and hopefully start talking to more people within or outside the fandom. I'm gonna try finding a gaming group to hopefully play D&D or other games with. And if you live around the southeast part of Minnesota, USA then maybe we can chat and potentially hang out in person.
For anyone who's read this far please feel free to leave a comment, send me a note, or contact me on Telegram if you want to talk.

I'm not local to your area, but I do love playing D&D. If you're getting a group together for an online game, I'd be more than happy to join!
Hope things continue to get better for you!
