We're home owners!

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾☽༓･*˚⁺‧ I didn't want to say anything prematurely just in case because our luck sucks, but as of today, my roommate and I are first time home owners of the house we've been living/renting for 3 years!
We got so lucky due to the sellers wanting to sell the home and even luckier that we somehow secured it. That process is a nightmare, just fyi lol. I'm really lucky I get to finally have a more "permeant" place to stay.
I'm back to the grind, plan to see some art pop up this weekend, and also maybe a commission spot. Have a great day! :D

Thank you! I never say never cause who knows what could happen but for now it's much more permeant than renting which can be unpredictable. At least, in my head it feels that way lol

Yay, congrats! I hope it's a place you really like and I hope they gave you a good deal. That's definitely a plus that the previous owners were willing to sell it directly to you so you could cut out the headache of searching for a place that's both nice and affordable in this shitty housing market. BTW, since you've been living there and paying rent for 3 years, did that factor in with the sales price at all?

We've never personally spoken to the sellers, and from what we gathered from the realtor, was that they wanted to get rid of the property and since we had kids and had been good tenants, they offered it under market value. So maybe? It was an interesting offer that we couldn't say no to. The process was the hardest part. Been working on it since last year lol.
