Fear is in the air, and the deceleration from the break neck speeds I operated at is rather painful. I'm taking a bit of time to figure things out and decompress my mind.
I plan to do streaming publically again soon. It's a process that's active in therapy and as I formulate a new company.

Yeah, I know. I'm forming my own art/media/production company out of sheer "need to do something" but learning to run your own thing is sort a curious entity.

The deceleration is painful, but necessary. It's hard to go from 100 mph back down to 0. But it's good for me, provided that the deceleration doesn't tear me apart though. I appreciate the comment though.

I understand the feeling. I had something similar with a position I'd filled for 18 years and was hoping to make 21 years and the bow out on my own terms. That wasn't in the cards. It took me more than a year to really feel 'normal' again, after a 2nd try at getting back into the saddle with the same position. The best guidance I can give is to look for someplace else you can productively put your energies. Don't look behind you, you're not going that way.

I plan to start looking in Feb 2024. I picked this date based on my severances and what needs to be done in the next two months. I'm working on me during those two months. Keep an eye out on my FA and such, I may have a surprise or two coming.
