Possibly going to Further Confusion (Furcon)

So I've never been to a furcon but I've really wanted to go to one for a while now. It just so happens I'll be visiting family in California in January and Further Confusion will be happening that same time and is only a 2 hr drive away!
My issue is I don't want to go alone, and I don't have any friends that I know of that will be attending. Are any of y'all going?
It feels weird to ask this, but if you're going can you dm me and we can get to know each other a bit? Then potentially meetup and hang out at the con?
