Regarding about asking or doing art of my OCs

Hello.
Ok here is the thing. At first I didnt wan't to even mention this because people tends to missjudge by saying "you just want free art" when mentioning this stuff. But honestly, I don't care, is time to say it.
Several people has asked me commissions of my OC as you can see in my gallery, and sometimes I get gifts from people like you can see in my Gift folder (at Inkbunny).
The thing is, some people is afraid of drawing or using my char in a pic and they ask me via a note or such, to make make sure I dont get mad, etc.
This varies from person to person, some people prefers being asked, and some don't, but in my case specifically, you don't need to ask me permission to draw or have fanart drawn of my OCs SFW and NSFW both.
In some cases people wanted to gift me art of my OC Quetzalli, and they ask me first to make sure they got permission. Which I greatly appreciate it, but it also kind of ruins the surprise don't you think? ^^u
If drawing my chars or making fanart of them makes you happy, it makes me happy too. If you ever do fanart, show me because I want to see! Don't worry!

Nothign wrong with not requiring permission, but what you might try is just making a little blurb someone on your main page giving that open blessing, with an caveats for what *not* to do (just in case). This way there's a ref, easy to point, and if this journal gets buried you don't have to dig it back up.
But as Coldstone said, others are not so understanding and/or appreciative. And it's not like we're inaccessible -- not like we're unavailable for comment like the movie, TV and video game developers who produce their work for the masses, so I can understand why others would be upset if someone didn't ask them first.
