GoFundMe: Health Status Update Part 2
General
Hello everyone, I'm making a new update for how things has been going. A lot of things has happened, so I'll explain in parts.
1.- No one has found the cause of my unknown illness yet, however, I've feel it has diminished. The cause is unknown, but it may be still associated with my Hyper IGE or Adrenal Insufficiency.
2.- I got a new treatment for my asthma. It is more expensive than before, but it is making a difference!
3.- The cardiologist didn't find anything to worry about so far. There is some mild anomalies shown in the Holter, but no medicine is needed.
4.- The Neurologist wants me to have a Magnetic Resonance, unfortunately I didn't expect this kind of tests and for it to surpasses the donation budget at the moment. In the meantime they gave me Sertraline to treat other various symptoms. He also wants me to do a Polysomnography, but only after the Magnetic Resonance
5.- My Hyper IGE is still not controlled, as getting the special medicine has been very difficult and buying it is not an option since it is too expensive. (about 2000 USD per month). The medicine has been changed from Omalizumab to Dupilumab.
6.- My endocrinologist has changed my treatment to Hydrocortisone. Getting Hydrocortisone is more pricey since I need to get it from a special pharmacy, but I should feel better according to my doctor. I just started it today, so we will see!
The future is uncertain as I don't know what other test I may need, so I'll raise the goal for this reason. I wasn't planning to do so, but I would like to finish the whole examination rather than leaving it midway, specially with expensive tests like the Magnetic Resonance.
Thank you for understanding and for helping me with this. I deeply appreciate it.
