Burn Out?
2 years ago
Lately, I’ve been having difficulties working on projects. I have been making very small additions onto my novel, and for a while I was really productive on pictures, but these last few days, I’ve just been sitting at my computer, pondering what project I should work on, not making progress on anything.
One possible answer is burn out. It’s likely, though I’m not sure how to fix it. I tried taking a day off from working on anything and it didn’t seem to help. I also exercise 5 days a week so that should keep me physically fit, right?
Another reason could be extreme indecision. Like I mentioned, I just sit there struggling to figure out what to work on, never managing to reach a final choice. I really have no idea on how to fix this.
Finally, my game library could be a reason. A while back, I didn’t really have any games that I was really into, and spent most of the time working on projects. Eventually, however, I got Fallout New Vegas, which I poured hours into. Then I got Fallout 4, rented Dead Island 2, Xenoblade Chronicles, and now I have all these games I put so many hours into. So many, in fact, that most of the time I’d rather be playing those than working on projects.
I really want to be more productive again. I want to animate, I want to write, I want to learn to use Godot. My meds really aren’t doing much, so any tips for being more productive are welcome.

I would have to know more about your life before I could really give advice ^^;

It happens. Maybe take a break, see if it helps? *hugs* My messages are always open. What helps me, is working on something I want to do for just 5 minutes. Usually I'll want to continue if I can start. ^.=.^

Take a bit of you time. I'm not really sure what else to say. I'm sorry.
