Deviant Art allows AI art, Im not sure if they have any restrictions or policies on it as to you must include promps like InkBunny does.

I do know nudity is allowed but sexual activity/fluids, ect, arent so have to tip toe a bit there.

Yeah, I haven't been there in years. Also, the art was made from someone else I need to find this person and ask for their okay to show off their stuff. I'll work on it after Xmas. I just feel sorry for my friend who paid for the commission.

From what I heard some art in one of their official books was AI so they had to recall them and replace it with traditional art. There was another recent kerfuffle when they thought someone used AI art for another piece, but it turned out it wasn't the case. Think there was an incident with thr Magic cards too.

I heard Hasbro just recently fired a ton of staff from D&D. Rumors are going around that they may be preparing to sell it off, but I'm not sure.

D&D has a rule against using AI art, yet they were busted several times using it themselves. Lol.

CGI I think is more like digital art or something (you build a 3D mesh, make the textures to wrap it, etc.), whereas AI, you just put in a prompt like "Fabio breakdancing painted by Picaso", and it creates it for you. From my understanding, AI learns from referencing other artists' work and photos from the internet, and learns how to replicate it.

Ah, that explains why there is so many similar poses or slight differences between the pics. I also seen a few horrific AI pics like horrid hands, extra tits or limbs, and the uncanny valley.

Yeah, I saw one where the rim of the glasses was duplicated part way over the eyelid, and there was one where the hand didn't quite look right. A lot of them did seem similar enough to where I kept asking myself if I've seen this one already, but I couldn't tell if it was just a topless version, or an alternate costume version. They came out really nice though. I wish I could paint that well. Kept looking at the trees thinking to myself "man... I should study how to do that." I'm so horribly rusty, I wonder if I still remember all the hotkeys in Clip Studio, lol...

The thing with AI art is that it technically doesn't understand or comprehend the concept of what we're asking of it. To us, we know what a hand is; how it moves; how it functions; how it looks. But to the AI, it interprets our request as "compile image. Required tags: X, Y, Z. Variant: A, B, and/or C. Reference values 0-100. Combine values. X = 45.890, Y = 2.389, Z = 7, B = 90.001. Render image." That's how we get funky hands, and triple penises. It's interpreting pixels on and off, and it's only guessing as to what we want. The AI needs feedback to learn that "this is wrong. This is right." It still doesn't comprehend what it's doing, it just gets better at doing what it does to fulfill the required parameters.

It's also why Skynet from Terminator is so scary. "Stop war and violence." "Okay, how do we do that?" "Humans cause war and violence. Eliminate humans = stop war and violence." "Okay! Let's do it!" Eheheh...

That's why I am one of the few that liked Terminator Genesis. Instead of trying to wipe the humans out by force, it just becomes Amazon and the humans willingly submit. I for one welcome our electronic overlords! ^_^

When A.I. art was first conceptualized, a lot of the programs were actually found to be plagiarizing other artists, in some cases not even removing the watermarks identifying them as copyright.

As John Oliver once put it, the problem with A.I. is not that it's getting too smart for our own good, but that it can be profoundly stupid in ways we can't predict.

I think the logic is that the only thing they can do to prevent art theft via A.I. is to just prohibit its use entirely.

I remember people complaining about how it couldn't do fingers. And I saw a few mess ups like extra limbs.

A real shame though, AI could be rather nice for some folks.

The hands and eyes are always off on AI. Oof. Try somewhere else like Barq, eFur, or even Ferzu. Please pay living artists, not machines!

I have seen my fair share of monstrosities in galleries, can't help but laugh at some of them.

I haven't heard of those places before, I'll check them out soon.
