This journal post is out of character. That's the first what's happening. This account is officially being swapped over to be in character. I'm world building, I'm writing, I'm getting into the swing of it. While I'm writing short stories, there's an over arching plot. So first the stories are set in the universe that my sona exists in. The protagonist of these short stories is supposed to be a fictionalized male version of herself. He's my original fursona. I made him in high school and as I grew and changed he grew and changed.
However I never really wanted him to represent me, but unfortunately he did. Too much so. I grew to hate him and he grew to embody all of the things I hated about myself. Canonically he's dead. Timeline shenanigans. What happened was the deity who oversees the many timelines, The Cosmos, she destroyed him and merged his timeline with an identical one in order to declutter. Why have two of the same thing right?
This new timeline Fairwater was who she is. A hefty sized cheetah full of love. A people person with an outgoing and loud personality. However I made the original Fairwater. I can't just cast him out, so I needed a way to get him back. Write him back in. He's the one who is supposed to be the protagonist of these short stories. He's a fictional character.
However that's not entirely true. He's actually a living thing inside my sonas psyche. He's trying to get out. Write himself into the universe again. So you'll notice that Fairwater in the stories is referred to with female pronouns, and that's why the following in character journal detailing key characters will use male pronouns. My current sona was not supposed to be the protagonist. He was. He's been subtly influencing my sona to make drastic changes.
Eventually there will be a full take over and I warn you Imma get a bit more aggressive and dark with my subject matter. The lighthearted whimsical kink will go out the door, and it'll be full on horror. It will return after a two part arc detailing an inner struggle and escape of my old sona. I'm writing this so people don't get caught off guard or anything. And yes. This is an actual writing project. I am heavily HEAVILY excited about writing this for everyone to enjoy.
It's soft parody of Terror Tales. And I might not go full fetish or include fetishes in some of the stories as I do want some of this writing to be accessible to everyone. It's all gonna be horror themed, but general stuff like transformation is commonly used in horror as an example. So despite being a fetish to some, and depending on how I write it, that might not be tagged as mature. I also don't intend to have sex in them as, in character, these were the kind of thing written as a portfolio to apply for, like, a horror magazine.
Anyway I hope you all like my first story, and I will take any and all feedback and criticism into account once I've got these "old archives" out of the way. When I start writing "new" stories.
