Happy New Year 2024! (and a lot of complaining on my part...
Happy New Year everyone! Best wishes for all of yous and hope that this year will be better than the previous one!
For real: from a personal perspective, 2023 kinda sucked hard... It started pretty ok, recovering from landlords selling the apartment where I lived, looking for a new place and stress for 3 months, ending up with the apartment being sold, but me staying in it on the same terms. Pretty ok situation. The next 6 months or so had ups and downs, but overall stayed afloat. Around mid/end july landlords told me I need to leave in 2 months, cause their daughter is moving in. So spent the next two months apartment hunting in the worst season to do so. They eventually changed their mind, but I was already tired of their BS and decided to bail out anyway. Not to mention they apparently planned to kick me out from the start and ended up being a-holes. Moving out was a good idea, am at a new place, things seem to be ok. But the whole debucle was a big hit on both financial and emotional level for me, so I spent the rest of the year doing damage control on both.
So here we are, in the first days of the year 2024. I really wanna pick things up and start doing some positive stuff instead of just surviving. Lotsa things to do, got some plans - among them being more active on social media, cause the last years - been a silent potato. I need some better discipline when it comes to art and posting art. Just general things.
I hope 2023 was more generous for yous. If it wasn't - I feel you and hope this year will allow you to recover. I just want to wish all of you all the best, that stuff will get better and you can grow and flourish, overcoming what the future throws at you and grabbing the good stuff.
Stay strong and stay hopeful, wonderful critters.
Take care!
