Vacation time (hopefully more productive than last year)
So, a year ago I expressed the hope that I would be able to solve a number of my organizational problems and implement many commercial and non-commercial art plans in 2023... Without further ado, over the past year my time management gotten even worse: at first everything was fine, but during the spring, in the summer and early autumn, the situation worsened a lot, first due to repairs, then due to the illnesses of my relatives, the consequences of which will remain and complicate life, probably for a very long time. As a result, despite refusing to participate in Drawtober, I still drew much fewer things than I had hoped, this applies to both personal works and commissions. To make matters worse, my social battery seems to have not just run out, but broken, leaving me, despite wanting to communicate more (and respond to all your wonderful comments!!), stuck and disorientated for weeks. So in this January I’ll try to get enough sleep and switch to some other things (traditional art, sculpting, reading paper books rather than audio, walking, whatever) so that on February 1st I can return to normal.
This year I want to make up for all my debts on Boosty and significantly diversify the content there (so that it is not just a warehouse of WIPs and works in maximum resolution), do more for my magnum opus, and also try to switch to ClipStudioPaint. I hope everything works out this time :'3
Thank you so much for your attention, understanding, patience, support, great commission ideas and just being you!
Happy New Year! I hope it will be better than the previous one (by the way, how was your 2023? You can share your impressions in the comments if you want)

I hope your changes work out! My 2023 was very up and down. I had to make many changes myself for this year since I have to recover a lot of money I had to spend on car repairs and medical expenses. Completely wiped out my savings so had to heavily cut back on hobbies.
Oh, I hope this year will be more prosperous and less expensive for you! I know all too well how quickly medical expenses eat up savings - it's incredibly stressful for so many reasons...

My sympathies for how hard the last part of 2023 has been on your heart and mind,
and being responsible for your relatives' health is so difficult to reconcile with your work and personal needs...
Still, thank you endlessly for that king's bounty of diverse, beautiful and complex works you have shared recently!
How blessed we are that one of FA's most skilled artists is also one of its most prolific ones!
But all god things have their price and take their toll, and I would rather only get to see half
of those wonderful creations, than to read about your burnout.
It's good to know that your business is booming, of course, and I wish you to find a better balance
so you could still create at an impressive rate, but not at the expense of overexerting.
May everything go your way in the new year! Good luck with your humble wishes and your lofty dreams alike!
I'm trying :3 In the near future, I plan to finally transfer the developments for my magnum opus to FurAffinity, so that in addition to commissions and fanart, there will be more original things here...
I'm still afraid to take on the story itself, but I hope you'll appreciate the refs , doodles and sketches with OCs.
Probably, the accumulated stress IRL, news, anxiety, etc. is taking its toll - before I had to combine work with study, and it didn’t feel so exhausting, although physically I was more tired. In any case, I think that it is still possible to find a balance and then I will be able to post drawings more often and without art blocks. I'll work on this)
Thank you so much! I really hope that everything will be fine for you and your loved ones this year too <3
A gradual and fragmentary sharing of an ongoing project is magical to behold,
and of course your followers will be delighted to have all those mosaic pieces
to speculate about and try to fit together, before the next update would upset
all their theories and give rise to new ones! If you get the local audience hooked,
they'll give you all the incentive you'll need to keep developing your masterpiece,
and you'll have a ready fanbase for when the project gets its big commercial release!
Hopefully!
Burnout and health limitations tend to sneak up on people, the same way a person
who could endure a week-long spree of drinking and debauchery in their youth,
can barely pull a drunken all-nighter after a few years.
In your case, of course, it's honest hard work, grit,
and pursuit of ambition, rather than vice.
I hope you will be able to find a schedule
to recapture that earlier levels
of enviable productivity
without as much stress!
And I'm so sorry that I haven't gotten around to leaving feedback on your latest streak of fantastic commissions!
I'm a little bit swamped with overdue chores and expired plants at the moment, but given the time
I would have left one of my unwieldly huge comments for every single piece you've shared
in the last two months! Your creative drive is something out of fantasy or sci-fi!
