I think there is no "need" to do something wrong in order to get blocked by someone. Just living a certain life might be reason for some to block others. It might also be a just a bad mood the person had? Or some other reason. I wouldnt think too much on it, otherwise more people would have blocked you, many more, which I dont think is the case. Besides I dont see any reason why, so it might just be random as well.

Actually there's a issue with the site where you randomly get blocked. I've had it happen too, been following an artist for a while, go to fave one of their arts and get the message that I'm blocked. I reach out to them via other social media's listed on their profile and ask if there is a reason I was blocked, they tell me they have no idea how/why I'm blocked, they go to unblock me to discover there are a bunch of people blocked that they didn't block.

That's actually incredibly strange and could very well be part of the reason why random artists have me blocked. Either way, I'm not too worried! Was just curious as to what was causing the issue is all. ^^ Thanks for commenting!

I have the same question, haha. But about Toyhouse.
I am always quiet and more concentrated on making arts or just faving stuff... But sometimes I see the same issue. Just go to someone's comments and see: "This user blocked you"... Logging into a side account to see their page and have no idea who the hell they are and where did they see me... Sometimes I saw they blocked me by IP (switched on VPN to see them). As well as you, did nothing wrong and never even faved or somehow interacted with those dudes, never even visited their pages, LOL. Saw like 10 or more of that people and still dunno who they are.)))

I have no idea what you did or what did I, but some people just like blocking something/someone. They just like to be offended out of nothing. Kinda moralfags or so. Sometimes I saw "I am blocking N because I saw someone blocked N" on their pages. One day I've had a few people blocked me because I drew a Dream Catcher in one of my adopts, LOL.)))

So don't pay attention, they can be some bored dudes who have no idea of how to entertain themselves, that's all.

It's been said here that sometimes people will just block based on rumour or just a feeling that they don't like you and that just seems so silly to me!

Yes, it's so silly for me as well, I'll never understand that. I hardly ever blocked someone, - if they did something kinda a lot of spam or acting very rude to me personally.

I've had this happen too!
Never once ever seen the person or interacted with any of the characters and find out I'm blocked when I see something like a sales ad in a discord server or a shared journal, which not only is weird to learn I was blocked but also they miss out on a sale??? I had a friend once even notice an artist blacklisted me and asked me about it and I told her I have never seen that artist's work a day in my life and no idea why I was on it, she ended up not commissioning them.

So weird!!! Doesn't make sense at all, really. But some of the comments above say that people just get put into blocklists without anyone even knowing and that would definitely explain it a little better!

Unfortunately that means there's probably an issue with the website and management though. :(

And yeah a lot of the times the people who have me blocked, I've never interacted with even once!

I forgot to say that some people kinda that are fans of reporting everything to admins. So thanks God admins don't pay attention on them very often (I mean on TH). I've got some issues at Deviantart with that kind of reporters (when my NSFW art was blocked), while there are loads of pieces which are much more explicit than mine, but they're still in galleries for ages just because noone sees. Or having problems while exchanging points to USD openly (while some dumbass thinks you're a scammer because of that). So sometimes they're just moralfags and "free police", hehe. I think they just enjoy that because of their "aggravated sense of justice". You can leave some point of view which DA's admins don't share (for example politics and such) and will get a ban. Just because some piece of shi... reported you. And it doesn't matter if you live in a country which you were talking about. If your point of view is not "official" you can catch a lot of reporters who were never been in your country and doesn't know a thing about it. But still reporting you because you're not talking like official newspapers write.

I think those reporters are the same as those who randomly ban, just much worser because website and management supports them.

I think that an artist who do commissions must be open to dialogue and cheerfull to people. At last if she/he is not Loish or Sakimichan with millions of followers, LOL.
