Apology for Previous Content Sexualizing Feral Pokemon
a year ago
Whoops, I did not realize text-only images would be removed. I will be reposting my apology in a journal
A bit more than a year ago, I created some Transformation pieces that ended in sexualized Pokemon with little to no edits to their animalistic anatomy (except for adding visible genitalia). This was wrong of me, as I was effectively sexualizing feral animals. I recognize that drawing sexual feral art is a disgusting thing and something I should have never drawn. I am so sorry I drew it in the first place, I will never create that type of art again.
Sexual and TF-related artwork has been something I have been slowly drifting away from for a while now, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't apologize for and condemn the art I should have never drawn in the first place. Although I will probably be continuing my hiatus and lack of TF art, I am posting this on my TFhellhole socials to make my stance clear that sexualizing feral is immoral, and that I regret my past posts featuring these subjects. I will be editing messages on said posts saying this as well.
Thank you to those who requested I clarify my stance on this issue. I shouldn't have needed a kick in the pants to do it, but I appreciate the opportunity to hold myself accountable.

It's fine to drop sexual and transformation art and focus on other things, but it is not OK to further the idea that artwork = actual crimes.
Anyone who requested you 'clarify' your stance on this, does not have your best interests in mind. The idea that artwork or text of fictional characters is the equivalent to real animal abuse is abhorrent, abusive, and also does not comport to legal standards (at least in the US). It also has a long history in the fandom, its origins largely coming from religious puritans.
No normal person would think this way. Any regular person on the street would say "Whoa that's weird!" but if you asked them if it was morally indefensible they'd say "Uh well, no, it's just cartoons?" because that is the sane reaction.
Do what you want, but giving in to this line of thinking greases the wheels of Thought Crime, and you don't want that.
But they're fictional drawn Pokemon
Hell, one could argue most Pokemon as a baseline pass the harkness test, so I don't see an issue
I ain't even personally into feral content but I see nothin wrong with it, mate
"I recognize that drawing sexual feral art is a disgusting thing and something I should have never drawn"
You drawn a cock tf with the puking cum out the subjects mouth, you have drawn hypnosis ect. you drawn a lot of "disgusting" stuff. and your furry do you know what non furries think of that?
I really hope you write an apology for this "apology" because this is just beyond pathetic.
✌️
I understand there's a difference between fantasy and reality, but sexualizing creature that are more close to animals than anthros is just something I don't want to do anymore. I don't want to give people (including people I care about) the impression that I like feral animals, even fantastical ones.
I'm sorry if you think I'm folding to the whims of a crowd or something like that, but that is not the case. I appreciate you trying to look out for me, but my mind is made on this topic. That's why I posted this in the first place, because I wanted to make it clear.
Fiction is the place where these ideas can safely happen and be examined. It's pretendy fun times! And I guarantee that nobody is going to be convinced doing anything untoward with RL animals by some lovely transformation art.
I constantly see people complaining about such art or even getting aggro at artists that draw such, but I don't personally see anything wrong with it, and I enjoy such art myself! You have no reason to apologise, especially not for POKEMON of all things.
I'll respect your opinion on the subject assuming you don't force it on others like a lot of others do, but in my opinion sexualizing ferals? Nothing wrong with it in art.
I've seen a lot of cases where folks I've known have basically had someone befriend them, knowing this content and intentionally breaking them down, pushing them off stuff at the edges of their drawings at at first.
Then, they'd start pushing them out of content they like, as it's 'wrong'. Eventually to the end result of putting them off NSFW entirely, making them "ashamed" they ever drew lewd furry content. Has happened various times, to quite a few artists.
"Sexual and TF-related artwork has been something I have been slowly drifting away from for a while now"
Is this because YOU want to, or is it because of said 'friends' pushing you away from it, giving you snide comments, demonising your art or otherwise. The end result is, they WILL guilt trip you into deleting your account. I've seen it happen to some in the past - Then, a long time after, perhaps once you realise what they actually were like...
You come back to the fandom, having to start from scratch, with a bad taste in your mouth, generally.
When vilifying people who respect you, it's best to offer legitimate reasonings for your stance other than "it's bad because obviously it's disgusting." There are valid points to be made, I'm sure, but you haven't made any. That's why people are mistaking your personal decision for peer pressure.
You're allowed to burn as many bridges as you want, and you don't have to justify yourself; but you might find people respecting your decision more if you give some insight.
i understand that this post is meant to be an announcement of changes to your content going forward, not an invitation for discussion on the matter. But the wording you've chosen is innately antagonistic, even if you've technically directed it toward your own actions. Ergo, people are going to feel compelled to defend themselves.
