New PC Up & Running
Receiving Transmission...
I finally got the new PC I bought for myself as a birthday present fully set up and running. It took much longer than expected because I couldn't get the old PC to connect to the new one via a LAN or via connecting the old HD to the new rig. So it was a slow process of copying everything back and forth to my external HD. Then it was a case of getting all my personal settings for all my programs and games, tweaking and setting up programs. It an entire week to do...
But I'm finally done! My new PC is running smoothly and is a great pleasure to use. Now, enough dallying around. I got to get my art progress back on track, since it was a whole week of not getting any work done. I apologize for these delays, but now with all the work of getting the PC set up behind me, I can get cracking again!
Even as the loadshedding and overtime at the office again threaten to eat up my free time from tomorrow... *sigh*

I know work can be stressful, hang in there.
I myself got a new computer during the late fall last year. It would've been a smooth transition also, if my old computer would boot up at all, and I could've transferred my files and such easily. I had to pay for some help on extracting it all, which was troublesome. In fact, having to pay for that extraction, delayed me from buying the new computer in the first place. And by such a small margin too.
But I held out, persevered, also has to do some extra work. And in the end, I have everything back on a new and faster pc.
