Loss in family and need for help

It's been over five years since I've made a journal update here. I neglect this place pretty badly. But I need as much help as I can possibly get with this one, so if you can take a moment to read, please do
The short version is that my father just died, and in the aftermath of his death, there are a lot of financial problems that are about to arise. The slightly longer version is here:
