I had that kind of dream when I was a kid, feeling super anxious and getting a bad vibe from some unassuming household furniture and getting the feeling that I was being watched by it, and if I moved too quick or even looked at it, some form of hostile presence would appear. I just stood frozen in terror the whole time in my dream.
