10 Years on FA

Today's my 10th year here on FA. I wanted to post something more but I got a little busy so I’ll do my best to squeeze in this before midnight here on the east coast.
I just want to thank everyone for the encouragement, community, and motivation to keep going and improving throughout all of these years. I’ve been here over a third of my life at this point and my time here played a big part in improving my skills enough to end up in art school and taking me to where I am today working as a professional artist doing digital sculpting.
I can’t begin to express how much all the support and kind words over the years have meant to me. I know I can be a bit more standoffish compared to some other creators here but it really has meant so much to me. I was always very hard on myself and my art, especially for the first 6 or 7 years of my time here I look back to journals like these https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/9206677/ and think about how far I have come. Some of you have been there to not just watch me grow as a artist but as a person as well and I want to thank everyone for helping me get to where I am now.
I don’t know what the next 10 will hold but I don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon so here is to more fat sci-fi nonsense in the future.

Funny to go back and see the comment and response I made on that journal 5 years ago. Nice to take a moment to think about where I was in the world in 2019 and where I am today. A lot has changed, and for the better. I see you wrote "For me the furry community has always been my reprieve from the high art world to which I still hold a lot of disdain for." Do you still feel that jaded from your time in art school?
But now that I am not being forced to write several page artist statements for every drawing I do I am slightly more indifferent.
Glad to hear things have changed for the better for you as well. Also, I already have my next story idea I just have to find the time to draw it
...I just realized after looking, that this will be my 19th year myself.. XD;; (As of my first FA account, of course!)
i hope i can still stay to continue seeing it, as a friendly lurker.
Keep on putting love into what you do, I look forward to the next ten years
Just keep it up like that and you will become even better! Challenge yourself and break through your limits! *hugs!*
