No. I'm not doing it. If you want a journal where someone proudly proclaims that they're leaving the fandom or whatever, go to someone else's journal post for today. It's not funny. It was never funny. It stopped having any semblance of humor after the umpteen billionth time I saw someone say it. It's like working in retail, trying to scan something, have it come up as an error, and then the customer responding, "Oh, that means it's free." I don't care how many times you say it, or how many people copy it; I'm not going to laugh at it.

I say this as someone who loves terrible puns: I shouldn't need to make the excuse to limit my punning to a single day. If you want to do that, fine. Go nuts. Just at the very least come up with something original.
