I've made a good amount of friends in this space. I always love talking to them and messing around with them. However, I also hate worrying about them thinking I don't care about them. I know this may be a pretty silly, paranoid thing to say, but I still want to say it, just in case.
If we've gotten to know each other and start talking, and you feel as though I've ghosted you, please know that I don't intend to. It's a combination of many things - social awkwardness/anxiety, difficulty thinking of things to say, worry about being bothersome or annoying, and a very low social battery - that make it very difficult for me to start and lead conversations, so I tend to wait until the conversations are started from the other side, even when that ends up putting those conversations into stasis. It's something I've always struggled to do, and something that I'm trying to get better about.
